Dr. Mark Davis is a native of Fairfax County. He became one of the country's first board certified specialists in Emergency Medicine in 1983. VMAC was created out of his mission to take a general medicine walk-in clinic and develop a place where the community could receive non-critical urgent and emergency care at the level that he could deliver as a skilled and experienced Emergency Physician practicing outside of a hospital environment.

For the past 17 years, Dr. Davis has continued to promote the concept that high-level emergency and urgent care for non-critical illness and injury can be delivered in a community-based setting. In addition, Dr. Davis has developed innovative cost and time-saving services in the areas of non-surgical injury care and work related injuries and illnesses. 

Dr. Monica Zink, DNP, Monica was born in England but is proud to claim joint citizenship with the United States.  Her career began over 25 years ago as a Registered Nurse in Emergency medicine.  She graduated from the University of Colorado in Denver in 1996 with a MS degree as a Nurse Practitioner and is Board Certified in Family Practice. She finished her education in 2009 with a Doctorate in Nursing Practice

For the past 12 years Monica has supported and promoted the need to make primary care easily available to everyone in the community and has worked in both urgent care and family practice clinics meeting those needs.  She feels that the needs of the community can be met with the collaboration of Medical Doctors and Nurse Practitioners as well as other mid-level providers.  She is happy to call VMAC home for the last year and hopes to continue assisting Dr. Davis in providing quality medical care to our patients.
